Refund Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Digital goods are hard to give back, so please read this before you buy. We would rather fix your problem than take your money and leave you stuck.
Talk to us first
If a plugin does not work on your server, open a ticket in our Discord before asking for a refund. Most refund requests we see are setup problems that take a few minutes to solve, usually a missing dependency or an unsupported server version.
When we will refund you
- The plugin does not work as described on this site, and we cannot fix it for you in a reasonable time.
- You were charged twice for the same licence.
- You bought the wrong product by mistake and have not used it.
When we will not refund you
- You did not read the requirements. Our plugins state the Paper and Java versions they need, and that they need PacketEvents.
- You changed your mind after using the plugin on a live server.
- You want a feature the plugin never claimed to have.
- Your licence was terminated for breaking the Terms of Service, for example by sharing or leaking the plugin.
- The problem is caused by another plugin, a modified server jar, or a server version we do not support.
How to ask
Open a support ticket from the website or in our Discord, and include your BuiltByBit username, which plugin you bought, roughly when, and what went wrong. We will answer as soon as we can.
Purchases through BuiltByBit
Our plugins are sold through BuiltByBit, so their rules and buyer protection apply alongside this policy. Where their platform rules give you more protection than this page, their rules win.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under consumer law where you live. In some countries, including in the EU, you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase within a set period, though that right can be reduced or lost for digital goods once you have started using them with your agreement.
Chargebacks
Please do not open a chargeback before talking to us. Chargebacks end your licence and can get you banned from our Discord and future purchases. If we got something wrong, tell us, and we will deal with it.
This policy is a sensible default, not legal advice. Check it against BuiltByBit's current seller rules and the consumer law that applies to you, especially the withdrawal period, before you rely on it.
