FlakeChat

FlakeChat is a formatter and a filter in one jar, and either half can be turned off on its own. The formatter pulls a rank's prefix and suffix straight from LuckPerms, no rank to set up by hand. The filter runs fourteen checks that read a message the way it will actually be typed, not just the dictionary spelling.

An honest look at a filter that reads how people actually type, against a plain word list.

      Setup

      Getting started

Works out of the box. Add PlaceholderAPI and LuckPerms for rank-aware chat formatting.

FlakeChat needs nothing to run. For rank formatting, its plugin.yml soft-depends on PlaceholderAPI and LuckPerms:

Without either installed, FlakeChat still works; placeholders that cannot resolve are simply left out instead of showing as literal text.
